Some have asked what the numbers represent in the composite scores for the initiative rankings (i.e., are they % or count, etc.?). They are the count of hits for a given assessment criteria within each question where:

A. In the first question (indicate the level of importance) the values represent the number of times each item was deemed to be “most” & “somewhat more” important by respondents.

B. In the second question (pick a first, second, & third choice) the values represent the number of times each item was deemed to be a “first” choice by respondents.

C. In the third question (pick one) the values represent the number of times each item was picked by respondents.

The composite number is the sum of the “hits” (the number of times respondents actually chose an item) for each initiative in each question. We can convert the composite number to % by dividing the sum value by the total number of hits represented.

We have three questions (indicate the level of importance, pick a first, second, & third choice, and pick one)

4 criteria for determining the “value” of an initiative (most important, somewhat important, first choice, single choice)
